Together with Seattle poet Sierra Nelson, Loren co-authored the lyrical choose-your-own-adventure book: I Take Back the Sponge Cake (published by Rose Metal Press in 2012, and recipient of the 2010 NYU Washington Square Review Prize For Collaboration). In 2014, their collaboration was awarded a City Artist Grant by the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture for their next project: I Change.
