The Lodge at Burren College of Art

Burren College of Art offers campus accommodation for undergraduate Study Abroad students, visiting faculty, workshop participants and Artists-in-Residence in our 11-room Lodge and adjacent 4-bedroom bungalow.

The Lodge is set on extensive grounds with inspiring views of the Burren, and is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the College and 35 minutes from Ballyvaughan village.

The 11 en-suite twin bedrooms are bright and well appointed. Single room rates are also available. Communal areas include a large living room with an open fire, dining room, TV area, well-equipped kitchen, laundry and public washrooms. A patio area with chimney is an ideal outdoor summer gathering space. The Lodge has WiFi throughout and has wheelchair accessible rooms available.

The Bungalow

The Bungalow is adjacent to the Lodge and has 2 en suite double bedrooms and 2 single rooms with a shared full bathroom. The house also has a spacious communal area and cozy sitting room, along with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

Newtown House

Newtown House is one of the original buildings on the campus, located next to the 16th century Newtown Castle.  The House offers six twin/double bedroom accommodation for students, residents and guests of the College.  Two of the bedrooms are en suite and four share two large bathrooms. The House has a fully equipped kitchen, shared communal spaces, and wi-fi throughout.  Laundry facilities are available next to the House.

Newtown House is located directly on the College campus, and is steps away from our studios and other facilities.
