Costume and Summery dress encouraged!

Blazing bonfires, food, wine, art, music and dancing await you in the courtyard of Newtown Castle to celebrate St John’s Eve bonfire night.  Music will be provided by Los Paddys de Las Pampas, (Irish/Argentinian fusion), Matthew Noone (North African sarode), and Ballyvaughan’s own Ukelele Orchestra.  Wine and dine on BBQ cooked by food critic and expert in all things grilled, Robb Walsh, together with Burren Food Trail members including: Burren Food & Wine, ice cream by Linnalla and vegetarian options and desserts from the BCA Food of the Arts cafe.

Burren College of Art is pleased to host the 2018 MFA/MA graduate exhibition opening on Saturday, 14th  April at  6pm. In THIN PLACES, MFA Melissa Cayford explores how the external environment affects the body through her innovative, mixed-media studio practice. Additionally, the Post Baccalaureate, MFA 1 Exhibition and the end of year Undergraduate Exhibition will run concurrently with the Graduate Exhibition.
