Synopsis :
My artistic practice is based on personal experiences as a racialized woman. My research examines how performance art and storytelling are catalysts to transform racial trauma embedded in the body. I use performance art to analyze connections between identity, body and mind. My movement-based practice unpacks long-term tensions stored in the body.
