PLEASE NOTE: Once you’ve submitted your application, you should immediately see an acknowledgement page confirming the submission.  If you do not see this, please contact Lisa Newman at lisa@burrencollege.ie to make sure your application has been received by the College.

NOTE: While we make every effort to accommodate persons with various abilities, if you have physical limitations which would prevent you from walking along narrow country roads between the College and Ballyvaughan, we highly recommend you consider renting a car for at least part of your stay.  This is also recommended for anyone wishing to explore the Burren, nearby cities or other parts of Ireland on their own schedule.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Current government regulations require international visitors to Ireland to show evidence of a negative PCR-covid test taken at least 72 hours prior to arrival.  After a minimun of 5 days, and evidence of a second negative test, visitors are then allowed to end the quarantine period.  Should this still be in place at the beginning of the course, we are prepared to offer an additional week of accommodation for international participants for the quarantine period in our campus housing.  Updated travel advice can be found here on the Irish Government website.

We are extending our refund policy to give participants full refunds for fees (less bank charges) up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the Academy in the case that travel restrictions related to the coronavirus prevent them from coming to Ireland.

Should you have any questions, please contact Lisa Newman at lisa@burrencollege.ie or +353 65 7077200.
