One of the great landmarks of the Burren, the 16 th Century Newtown Castle provides a unique venue for projects, installations and performance.
Restored in 1994 the four-storey building includes a minstrel’s gallery and large open fireplaces.
Students are welcome to use the Castle to either create or display their work, be it installations, performances, video or sound works. The castle is also regularly used a venue for story-telling sessions, receptions, talks and it also plays host to the College's annual conferring ceremony.
