Tanya de Paor
My practice-based doctoral research focused on demonstrating how to foster positive engagement through immersive, multimedia sculptural installations, a toolkit and a suite of creative tools. The research contributes on a dual level, firstly to the field of eco-art and secondly as a pedagogical space for agentic response to environmental challenges through participation. The final installation, Fables for a Reconstruction, A Toolkit to Imagine the Symbiocene aimed at drawing in the audience to think about our connections and interdependencies in everyday, micro-political and domestic scales.
