My research aims to find alternative, liveable ways of making and creating in tandem with growing systems. For four years, I have built and maintained a garden on campus, growing plants for use as dyes and pigments. I study permaculture and systems thinking more generally, care ethics, deep ecology, and new/eco materialism. My methodology includes natural dyeing, quilting, drawing, sculpture, film photography, and I regularly visit farm/garden sites around Ireland as part of my research into plant-people relating.
