The Burren Leadership Retreat
What’s become clear over the past two years is that most leadership programs, with pre-packaged agendas and knowledge from the past cannot offer today’s leaders what they’ll need to thrive personally or to engage their organizations effectively, in the future that is emerging.
Since 2014, we’ve been welcoming globally minded leaders, who are interested in learning to lead in a different way.
Our annual gathering of artists and leaders is an exploration of life and work.
Note: Given the complex concerns we’re all experiencing and especially given our international nature, we’ve decided to postpone our May 2022 gathering. Please keep an eye on our website for updates.

Over four days in May, we’ll life our gaze and enter new leadership territory. We’ll connect with the kind of leadership that’s needed in an uncertain world: deeply relational, imbued with artistry and interdependent with all of life.
Martin Hayes, Reilly Dow, and Padraig O Tuama will be returning to shape our creative dialogue. Brendan Dunford will guide our landscape learning. Mary Stacey will host the Retreat, along with Mary Hawkes-Greene and Martin Hawkes at the Burren College of Art.
We invite you to meet us at the intersection of artistic and leadership practice.
