November Workshops

Running a November session of our traditional summer workshops feels more like a leap of faith in the current climate. If the August session is anything to go by, the week of summer workshops felt like a breath of fresh air for all those who attended, for the tutors and for all of us at Burren College of Art.

The desire for creativity, art and beauty is so strong that the call from so many came asking if we’d consider running our workshops again during the year. So here we are, after careful consideration, we have decided to give it a go: give people a chance to take another breath of fresh air and paint or draw in the Burren, using professional artist studios, guided by experienced tutors and surrounded by like-minded artists.

This can only happen at limited capacity and with strict hygiene protocols in place. Sanitizing stations and schedules have been organized, social distancing rules are very clear, so that your safety and that of our college community can be fully maintained.
However, as uncertainty is the key-word in our lives, the week-long workshops can only happen in accordance with public health advice and government regulations.

Self-catering accommodation in our college housing is also available.
