Executive Leadership Programmes

Learn more about the annual Burren Executive Leadership Retreat, taking place in Summer of 2018.

The Burren Executive Leadership Retreat

The Burren Executive Leadership Retreat is a by-invitation gathering of global senior leaders who are reaching beyond conventional executive development programs and who see the value of developing in a community of diverse, yet like-minded peers.

The Retreat has grown from a shared vision held by the Burren College of Art and Context Consulting – an international consulting firm based in Canada that works with executive teams in complex systems, and innovates in the field of leadership development in collaboration with artists. Our organizations’ distinct and interrelated capabilities make it possible for the Retreat to become a unique place for leaders looking to grow, renew their energies, and to connect with global peers similarly seeking their next horizon.

David Whyte and Martin Hayes

This program is an opportunity to join accomplished leaders and renowned artists to co-create and open new leadership territory. Mary Stacey leads the Retreat’s facilitation team, which includes poet David Whyte and musician Martin Hayes, whose professional lives also unfold at the intersection of leadership and the creative process.

The programme is designed to provide ample time for personal reflection, peer inquiry and coaching, and whole group discussion about organizations, systems, and leadership itself.

Leave the programme with:

  • Access to a global network of peers who understand your leadership challenges
  • Powerful practices that will help you thrive as you lead complex change
  • A view of how you can influence leadership in the global context
  • Steps toward the next phase of your development

The next Retreat will take place from August 26th – August 29th, 2018.

with: David Whyte, Martin Hayes,

Mary Stacey, Gayle Karen Young, Reilly Dow
