Summer School 2012

Burren College of Art Summer School will bring together a diverse group of artists and interested students from other disciplines to explore and produce a creative response to identified Burren issues. The broader issue of artist intervention in the landscape to develop creative solutions through the lens of artists will also be examined. Artist, Professor Timothy Emlyn Jones, Dean of BCA and environmentalist Dr. Brendan Dunford, co-founder of Burren Béo, an organisation dedicated to supporting sustainable living in the Burren, will co-direct the summer school with the assistance of a team of artists, environmentalists and local stakeholders.
