The 10th Burren Annual exhibition opening at Burren College of Art Gallery Ballyvaughan on Saturday, July 6th will feature a major exhibition of work by acclaimed artist Anne Madden.

“Flux and Flow” – paintings of forty years apart; 1960’s and early 2000’s – will trace a Burren influence throughout Madden’s work. Paintings will be on loan from IMMA, the Arts Council and private collections.

Burren College of Art is pleased to announce a new exhibition of work by Gordon D’Arcy, Bird Style, which will open on Saturday June 1st and run until June 28th.

Bird style is Gordon D'Arcy's 11th solo exhibition and his second in the Burren. He has been exhibiting since the late seventies, in Galway, Dublin, Belfast and most recently in the Audubon Society in America.

Burren College of Art is delighted to host this exhibition which shows a selection of images from Carsten Krieger's new book 'Ireland's Coast' as well as some new and as yet unpublished work.

The Newtown Nature Trail, at the Burren College of Art, has been turned into a Music Trail for the Burren In Bloom Festival 2013. Tiny fairy chime bars among the wildflowers, frog guiros hiding in the woods and big tubular bells echoing the bells of Ballyvaughan church all await visitors to play them in the beautiful setting on the hills of the Burren.
